This panel discussion explores how actuaries are experimenting with artificial intelligence to enhance productivity across Property & Casualty insurance. Bringing together senior actuaries and leaders, the session will examine how AI is beginning to reshape day to day actuarial work, from data preparation and model development to analysis and communication.

The panel will discuss practical use cases where teams are piloting AI tools, the emerging changes to the P&C actuary’s role in an AI enabled environment, and key considerations such as explainability, model governance, and collaboration with data science and business stakeholders. Drawing on early implementation experiences, the discussion will focus on lessons learned, common challenges, and how actuarial teams can build capabilities while navigating uncertainty about outcomes and value realization.
